We are the official distributors of Kessil in Brazil and in Latin America, and because of our partnership, we managed a better experience in closing the purchase because we have a channel open with Kessil, better dealing with documentation, regulations, freight, customs clearance.

Photoredox catalysis is a technique that utilizes the energy of light to catalyze chemical reactions via single-electron transfer events. This area is named as a combination of “photo-” referring to particles of light, or photons; and redox, a short term of oxidation-reduction, a process of electron exchange. When a light-sensitive compound is excited by
light, it mediates the transfer of electrons between chemical compounds to create new chemical bounds. Such reactions help discover new drugs, produce new or lessexpensive fine chemicals for flavorings pesticides, polymer materials, and other industrial chemicals.

With our patented Dense Matrix LED technology, Kessil manufactures LED lamps with high output, precise wavelengths, and strong penetration. Such features help accelerate photocatalytic reactions and aid the discovery of new medicines. Kessil’s lamps have been used and acknowledged by many academic laboratories, such as Princeton University’s MacMillan Group, Doyle Group, University of Michigan’s Stephenson Group, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Nicewicz Group, University of Wisconsin -Madison’s Yoon Group, and many more!

PR160 Rig w/ Fan Kit

Product Information Overview

The PR160 Rig with Fan Kit is a specifically designed mounting system for typical laboratory
photocatalytic reactions. It’s full adjustability and secure mounting provides consistency,
accuracy, and repeatability. The Kit also comes with a powerful fan to blow air from the top
efficiently (proved to be more efficient than clamp desktop fan) to keep the reactions at room
temperature as much as possible. It also comes with light-blocking shields for lab safety, which
blocks all UV light and most blue light.
**Compatible with PR160L**
Part Number
KSPRRM03
Weight
6.2lb / 2.85kg
Dimensions
W 22.7″ x L 13″ x H 7.5″
Note 1: The kit does not come with the base.
Note 2: Stir plate can be used. The PR160 Rig w/ Fan Kit is attached to your typical lab
supporting bar (monkey bars) – “hanging in the air” above the stir plate
